I get compliments/inquiries about this water bottle more than anything on a regular basis, so I thought I’d do a blog post about it. (I plopped my bottle in some snow and took a photo!)

I actually didn’t even know what brand this was until I looked for the label on the bottle (it’s very subtle) and I checked out their website. I was searching for the perfect reusable water bottle (I drink a ton of water) and I found it last summer at my local Sportcheck store (I haven’t seen it there since, nor is it on their website). It was pretty expensive for a water bottle (currently at $29.95 USD), but it captured my heart and I felt like I had to have it. It’s made from a very durable, BPA-free Tritan material (does not smell bad & doesn’t alter the taste of my yummy water!). But what I really liked about it is that the spout is big enough to put ice cubes in (I love me some ice water!). And a huge bonus was that Kor donates 1% of all sales to a select group of non-profits that focus on water-related issues – my specific bottle (pink) donated towards The Global Water Crisis. Other colours are coordinated with different causes; check them out here.

tonystarklor It was also a nice surprise when I watched Iron Man 2 a few weeks ago (I know, I’m very late) and saw that Tony Stark and I shared the same water bottle brand. How freakin’ cool is that!

If you want to purchase a Kor water bottle, you can go to their website. They have a new line of bottles with different shapes, colours and sizes!

PS. Here’s me with my bottle. I am slightly embarrassed by this photo as I think I look like a loser just standing there! Haha, but I wanted to show you guys a photo of me with it, so there ya go!

DISCLAIMER: As I was finalizing this blog post, I dropped my bottle (probably for the 50th time) and the top handle broke off! It still works and doesn’t leak, but just thought I’d let you guys know it is not indestructible, though it is very durable. Guess I’ll have to buy a new one. Also, I am not affiliated with Kor Water, nor was I in any way compensated for this blog post. As always, all opinions on this blog are solely my own.

Edit (January 31, 2012): This post has received a lot of attention over the last year and I get emails and tweets asking me where it can be bought in Canada. Remember how I had to buy a new one? [see disclaimer above] Well, fellow Canadians, I would have to say I do not recommend buying it from the website. The shipping costs plus duty set me back about $60 altogether. YIKES! Instead, here’s a list of places I’ve seen the bottle sold around me. (This is not an official list, just my observation.)

  • Sportchek
  • Sporting Life (Sherway Gardens)
  • Winners
  • GNC
  • Chapters (Square One) {Thanks @tamstoj}

Comment below if you’ve seen it in other Canadian stores as well, please. Thanks!
